I have had this box for years. It used to be Amazing for a family, they had this thing where they said you got enough for seconds or leftovers and it was usually both. Then they sold out to hello fresh and it's such a waste of time. I get maybe 1 box every 3-5 weeks. the recipes are nothing like they used to be, the portions are awful! and they charge extra for anything you may like, or the same amount as a meal for a side dish. I can't believe how easy it was for them to screw the customer over

Since Dinnerly doesn't come with recipe cards with your box, you have to view the cooking steps through the app or their website. The above is fine because it keeps the service cheap, but the app's cooking instructions shows only one cooking step at a time whereas the website version has the full page recipe card that shows all of the steps. The former makes sense if you're on a phone with a small screen, but I use a tablet so I'm capable of seeing multiple steps. I just wish they had the option in the app to directly download or show the recipe card instead.

I love Dinnerly! It's not quite as fancy as Hello Fresh, but it's $5 a serving and it's good enough! I think the recipies are delicious! Im a single parent and this makes my life so much easier. I let the kid pick a meal or two so she takes ownership. She likes to chop or prep sauces. Food is on the table in about 30 minutes. Minimal cleanup. Yes, there is a bit of repetition, but no more than there would be if I were using my own recipies: we all have our tried and true, and Dinnerly is mine!

Originally rated this 5 star but it's been failing a lot lately. Been experiencing significant loading issues with both the app and the website for the last few weeks. It's nearly impossible to update boxes because the pages are either extremely slow to load or fail to load at all. Love the service but the app and website need significant work. Edited

I've been using Dinnerly for a while now. I LOVE the recipes. I do NOT like the new version of the app. All my past favorite recipes I had saved are gone, it is aggravating to swipe through the steps because it constantly goes to the picture of done cooking, I'm missing info at the bottom of the steps because it doesn't let me scroll all the way down to the bottom, I can't view my next week's recipes so I can be prepared, and it doesn't allow you to even pick new recipes as a favorite ♥️.
