I love this app, I've had it for over 8 years now, but the I've run into a problem with the sync mode on my Google home and nest. It won't stay synced after one song. I don't want to lose my playlist if I have to uninstall and reinstall. is there a way to fix this problem Update 6/12/25 this has to be the biggest drop from grace for an app for me ever. The Chromecast still won't work and now using the app causes my phone to overheat. Unless this is fixed soon I'll have to look for another app Edited

I have used Doublwtwist for YEARS! over a decade now at least. I even paid for it. It has been amazing with all the features and ways to organize your audio. That is until recently. It refuses to play a majority of my music now! It will just keeps skipping songs until it eventually finds one it's okay playing. Now, idk if it's just giving me attitude and saying my music sucks, but I'd really like to be able to play all my music again. Really tired of listening to one song on repeat. Please help!

when this works, the app is great. With its PC sync app, it usually does a great job of copying over iTunes playlists. But then you slam into weird issues like playlists suddenly emptying out after a sync or vanishing entirely, or updating a podcast resulting in re-downloading the same 3 old episodes over and over but never seeing the new episodes, and the only fix is to delete and reimport your full library or sometimes fully delete-reboot-fully-reinstall the app. Edited

Been using this app for years not only for listening to music but also listening to streams like podcasts but lately the app has been giving me a VERY harmful error that causes the app to stop playing music, after it stops playing music the app will prevent closing windows so it also can't be stopped and if the phone is locked you can only force shutdown the phone or not allow you to unlock it, heats up the phone badly and it will drain the battery till it dies.

Thought it would be a good app and it is but some of the songs on ITunes don't get transferred by wifi or USB right away and some reason the letters on ITunes are capitalized and on double twist and not capitalized, also seen double albums for some reason, it's a good app but wish they would fix these issues then I definitely but the full version Edited
