Best Cantonese dictionary app, using the best Cantonese language database. I hope that in the future they add an option to look inside the components of each particular character (like Pleco). I have had this for many years now and I do not regret purchasing this one bit. It is absolutely essential and useful for daily use. You got words, phrases, idioms and even slangs in this dictionary used by locals. I have had certain times where friends and colleagues would not be able to translate a word for me in English so I had them pronounce the word(s) using the mic feature in the app, and not surprisingly, the app manages to find exactly what they are trying to translate. If that does not work, they can use the in-app handwriting feature. It will detect the written words and tell you the romanizations of said word(s) (and for some words, even the steps for how it is written!), and you can even listen to how it is pronounced! I mean, it cannot get more convenient than this. Edited

Simply awesome because it's easy, pleasant, and productive to use. You won't be held hostage by it's interface.With 60 thousands idiomatically, grammatically arranged entries and clear human voice, plus excellent examples, you have a very welcome Cantonese learning resource? Other great functions include: Excellent characters drawing function, highly useful tagged words widget module with local/cloud back up, Ankidroid connected S.R. learning, and more. Wow, like its excellent Hanping Dict for Mandarin, this developer has done again. Thank you for the hard effort to present these Chinese language resources to all of us.

This is the best cantonese dictionary i have come across. 100% worth the investment. Clean and simple to use. I love how you can write the character in incorrect stroke order and it will still recognise the word. It is great for people like me who are learning how to write the characters. Absolutely fantastic app. Thank you Edited

Best Cantonese dictionary I have ever used! I have been looking everywhere for this! I do admit that sometimes I have a hard time talking to my Chinese relatives but this makes up for it. The tones are accurate and easy to learn too. Do hope you can add new words. đź‘Ť I offer my thanks for providing this app! Edit: I want to give even more stars if I could but 5 stars is the max lol.
