I have a Fuji XP70 and an X100V. Both are excellent cameras that I've used for years. However, this app and the XApp are both worthless. I've tried repeatedly across years, no exaggeration, to get either camera to connect to my iPad and my Pixel. No joy. I have to physically remove the SD card, put it into my PC and download to access from anywhere other than the camera. It's shocking that Fuji would let it's name be associated with either of these apps. Do better Fuji. Edited

In the last week this has suddenly started draining my battery like crazy. Background only, it's 26% of my phone's usage. [update: 2025-06-17] added 2 stars. As of v2.4.1(1) this appears to have been addressed; I can now run the app safely in background again. That said, connection time to establish an initial contact with my X-H2S can be quite long. Also, that connection time is variable; some days almost immediate, other times, so long that my first few frames will not have a GeoLocation tag Edited

Finding it surprising in this day and age that a company as successful as Fujifilm (some of their cameras are in such demand, they can't ensure enough stock for months!) has made an app that fails to work most of the time. App is prone to crashes, has an unintuitive interface, and takes many attempts to connect to my Fujifilm camera to transfer images. To give a comparison, as I'm also a Canon user: Canon's Camera Connect app has worked flawlessly each time I've had to use it. Edited

I have been using Fuji cameras for eight years with this app and it's predecessors. I have owned three different models and not once have I had a consistent experience. Some days it will connect. Then it won't connect for a few days. Uninstall, reinstall, reset everything, it doesn't work. Then it might connect two days later. I would never use this camera for professional photography. I used Canons for years and never had problems once they introduced cameras that connect. Just awful.

Slow transfer speed... XT5 and modern Pixel Phone ... How is it possibly going this slow? Is it using some archaic form of WiFi? Also would be great if app allowed programming of film simulation recipes for quick and easy transfer to camera... Even BETTER would be allow import of a standardized preset file to make it even faster! You can have those ideas for free!
