Great app all in all if you are looking for a way to communicate with your growing child without giving them a cell phone. Quality is great and it performs well. I only gave it a 4 because texting location gets buried and doesn't go through the normal app with the phone, it has to go through the garmin app so you have to consciously check it. Otherwise, this watch is exactly what we were looking for and the plan was more affordable than the standard carriers.

Son (9yo) got his for Christmas last year. Had to replace band after 9 months of constant wear and tear. Battery is still going - it says it has a year lifespan. Love the fact I can monitor his sleep patterns, activity level and do rewards for chores. He can set timers, and use it as a stopwatch. We will be replacing it when it goes down because we like it so much. Edited

I like the app. It's fun to watch all my kids and myself compete. Choosing chores and giving them coins is great. I love setting their alarms too. I do have a problem with the BB8 app. It will not allow my 3 kids to play their game for getting active minutes. It works fine on the princess one... I've written to vivofit and I have had no response. This has been like this since Christmas.

Using with Bounce device. Lots of bugs/need improvements. - Messages and notifications received are sluggish/delayed. Response time's very important especially when Boundaries are set. - Enabling LiveTrack takes forever to load and sometimes need to back out of screen and go back to Location to finally see it's started. - Family message thread does not display timestamp as in individual messaging. How do you know when msgs are sent? - Sound emojis are very limited & not practical.

Love that I can set alarms for my kiddo, and he is enjoying the games. He loves making sure he gets his goal everyday and I love the sleep tracking. I wish I could initiate a sync from the app, instead of having to ask him. Also, I wish it had the ability to send a one word message if in range (like an indoor play area) so he knows it is time to come eat or just check in bevause i havent seen him in a while.
