I realize this is a backend app for data syncing, but it really should be integrated with Fit rather than a separate app (which is really just a setting, not a real app). I'm getting double counted on steps and activity because Fit, Zepp (my fitness watch app), and Fitbit are all reporting the same activity. Health Connect should recognize the activity that occurs over the same time period as one thing. Edited

All of a sudden my app steps were calculating incorrectly from my Samsung watch to Google Fit (off by 6k steps!) Apparently Google Fit was not getting data from the health connect app. I trying reconnecting the permissions and now it will not reconnect. Always said "Something Went Wrong; Try again Later". I've now tried for 4 days straight with no change. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Still nothing. Now I can't use my watch for my games (Pikmin Bloom, Pokemon Sleep). Extremely temperamental.

Not an actual app?? This shows uninstalled on my phone in the settings but I cannot find the app to open it on my phone. I have to go into Google Play to find it to "OPEN" it but it only goes into the app permissions, not the app itself. Disappointing because this is supposed to replace Google Fit for a program I am doing for a discount on my insurance for work.

garbage. I installed it and there's no icon associated with it on my phone. I can only track it down by searching in my apps list through settings and even doing that it doesn't open anything relevant. just shows me what other apps health tracking wise are linked to it , which is strange because I never downloaded it until today. so I'm a little confused on how it already thinks I've installed it prior to today ( July 15, 2025) my phone is a Google Pixel 9 pro XL. maybe a compatibility issue?

Says it's installed in Store, but when I open it, it just goes to Fit. Not accurately reporting data from my watch. Kind of important since work uses Motion Connect and has cash bonuses for results. And looking at every app in the drawer, I'm not seeing this icon. Motion said it would switch to Health Connect a few weeks ago, but still can only open (and find) Fit. Don't I pay you enough monthly, Google? YT Premium, One, etc. Now you have to mess with bonuses at work?
