One of the best Autora apps out there for UX. It would be nice to have diverse categories or only be notified for lights near you. It's cool to see other people's pictures, but if you're using this app for notifications to go check outside, the onslaught of notifications aren't helpful. Only having access to pro features through a subscription service instead of single payment doesn't make much sense when this app is very useful to tourists.

Haven't seen the Lights yet, but the app is much simpler and easier than anything else I've used. It doesn't give you a bunch of the "siencey" stuff I don't know any about anyway. Just simply answers the question, "Are the Northern Lights possible here tonight". Can wait to rate it AFTER it has correctly predicted a good viewing. Until then it's just an easier app to understand with good graphics and intuitive interface.

Not impressed with this app. I live in the Adirondacks, where we do in fact get to see the Lights from time to time. I also got tired of the constant notifications about Alaska, and not being allowed to report post pictures from a brief little display here a few weeks ago, because the app decided it wasn't possible. What is even the point of allowing users to input their location, if the app isn't even accommodated for that area yet?

Thank you for your feedback. Our data sources do not yet cover all of the U.S., which is why notifications focus on Alaska, but we are working on improvements. We keep photo sharing real-time to help users track the Lights as they happen, but we will consider allowing past photos. Apologies for any inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience.

App works great. I'm using the latest Android version and the app doesn't have an available permission setting to request access to gallery photos. The built in camera function lacks the features that the Galaxy phones support resulting in much lower quality photos that the native phone camera app. Edited

Love the map feature with other users sharing the location. However whenever I receive the notification I cannot see where exactly the person saw it, so I need to zoom in in every location in Finland to know who saw it recently..please fix. Some other buttons in the app also do not work for me (e.g. button send us email etc. )

Hi hi, Have you tried pressing the notification? that should open the app on the map tab, and zoom in to the location of the notification. Cheers,
