i find the app infuriating. Took me about 4 tries to book a flight. the whole hardsell is frustrating. when you finally get to the booking details, Jetstar suddenly doesn't know you anymore, and tells you to sign in. after you have done that, you have to start from the beginning again. Then I tried to pay by poli (no fees). after looking up the username, again the app reset to the beginning of the search. 😡 I would gladly pay hundreds of dollars more, if the competitors flew a more direct route

It doesn't even show boarding time, only departure time. the layout is terrible. Flight number, gate, seat are the three most important info bits, they are the smallest font on the page. Seat isn't visible without scrolling down. This is an app clearly made to sell upgrades, not to actually help you on your trip. Edited

a great and easy way to book your flights. I do wish that if the flight seats went cheaper that you were reimbursed (via points I guess) is the difference. It is sort of like incentivising last minute trips and not well planned ones. Other than that, definitely my go to for travel. thanks team 🙏✌️

once i signed out, app could not launch anymore. it just froze. need to uninstall and install again to launch the app. after that it happened again and had to repeat the process of uninstalling again. working flawlessly after update! Edited

Contrary to unsolicited 'advice' from random people, I personally experienced a streamlined operation the moment I entered the Jetstar 'bay'. Easy luggage tags, easy check in at the counter for bags drop. The lady staff was cheerful. Attentive and very accommodating towards me. I tend to be clumsy before 6am! I tagged my bag tag at the extended luggage handle. She didn't make me feel stupid. I had a problem removing those sticky tags, she smilingly removed for me + attached fresh tag! TQ!
