Can't connect to hub any more, stopped working with Google Home saying my device has a security issue. Googled the error and it goes back at least 6 years with no clear resolution. Logitech claimed they'd support this as long as we used it but they ended support in late May 2025. I've been a Logitech loyalist for decades, but no more. The sorry support and outright dropping of this product has caused me to no longer buy any Logitech products again.

Works well. It migrated settings from a Harmony 650 remote perfectly. I don't like the lack of support for Vera (-1), especially when I hear the API is disabled(-1). I would like to use the Companion remote to control a lamp. The Alexa skill needs work too: There is no way to update friendly channel names apart from unlinking accounts, resetting ALL the friendly names, and starting from scratch. Edited

Using with a hub. I need to fix the way my TV switches inputs to a menu with the directional buttons. Every single time I get to enter the last option (the command used to select the input) the app crashes. It makes the hub basically useless, as switching display inputs is the most necessary and basic function of a universal remote.

Cale, we are looking into this. However, it is not required to change the Input method of a device as Harmony database might contain all the details. Can you reach out to us at [email protected] with the model number of the TV and more information on why you need to modify the input settings. We will work with you to resolve it.

A recent update broke the app completely. If this happened to you, then uninstall/reinstall it. Clear storage for the app works as well. I also reset my Harmony Hub, but IDK if that was necessary. It paired, configured wifi, logged in, and restored the old config. So it works great when it works. Logitech, please add some telemetry to your app so you know when this happens. Potential repro steps: Install an older version that was live this summer. Upgrade the app to the latest version. Edited

Love the idea of the hub, but the software on this has poor implementation. . First, the software fights you for doing multiple hubs on a good network. Trying to work with the new blue software, but they want another ID for it. Fine. Except that you can not create another one with the mobile app. Nor can you go through the web interface. We do not run Windows or Apple, so, either Linux, Android, or web is the choice. Yet, some horrible choices have been made. Secondly, activity rules is a fine logic for such a thing, but, lots of issues with this implementation. Keep trying to control multiple devices and every so often, harmony gets totally lost. So, wife calls me up, I turn everything off (interestingly, with the remote) and then we are back to normal. However, this part is destroying the happy wife/happy life idea. All in all, the idea is good, the hardware is OK, the implementation is fine for a recent CS graduate.
