I couldn't even pay. Two different credit cards on both the app and website. Error messages. "Something went wrong please try again" for the website "We apologize something went wrong please try again" for the app. Support was absolutely useless and a waste of time and averaged almost 10 minutes between replies and then just stopped replying. Super disappointing. Edited

Yeah that works great! We did about 50km on 11 bikes over 3 days. The app works well, it gives directions and shows you where bikes and parking sports are available. The bikes worked well, were easy to use and in good mechanical connection and always charged. Biking around Mexico City has been a major highlight on our trip! 10/10 would recommend. (Also, it seems like Lyft has made many of the suggested improvements to the app that older comments complained about.) Edited

Excellent way to move around in certain parts of Mexico City. My only critique is on the first ride, I rode a little over 45 minutes. I thought the app would automatically charge for the extra time, but it didn't and the next day it locked me out of the app. It took me 20-30 minutes to understand why and how to solve the problem (because all of the correspondence is in Spanish and I am not a native speaker). Ultimately, I figured it out and all was good. Brush up on your Spanish!

do not use ecobici when you are in mexico, you will get charged with numerous extra fees when you return to your country. they will see that youre a foreign credit card and put numerous charges that are unauthorized. i rode the bike with my wife 2 times each less than 30mins/3km was charged total of 300 us dollars. we called the ecobici and was told they will return it after investigation which has not happened for about 3 weeks. BE AWARE!!

From Canada. Created account and added payment details from the website. But cannot log on to the app to actually unlock a bike. Very frustrating. edit: after a few more hours I was able to log in and book a ride. Edited
