It's pretty good for early development. pros: • accurate arival times and location • shows all arrival data available (sometimes over an hour ahead on the red line) • easy to use • shows detours and shutdowns cons: • no trip planner yet • doesn't show time since vehicle last reported location (this is useful to tell if there's a delay) • no widgets or ability to make shortcuts to stops/routes • can't favorite stops (only routes) The T should look at features from Andrzej Nosek's MBTA Tracker

old version was much better. It had more detailed information on train movement at all stations, i.e., no less than three trains in advance, by train number and eta all on one scrolling page with a drop-down map. Edited

It lacks the functionality I have today on other apps. Why switch? What special magic does the MBTA Go app offer?

Hi, Jeff! Thanks for the feedback. Today, the app helps you answer the basics—where's my train/bus? what time is it coming? what closures impact my stop?. In the future, we'll expand these capabilities and tailor the app specifically to MBTA service in ways that other transit apps cannot. Please keep checking back for additional features!
