It's cool they made an app. But as of right now, it's relatively useless. Can't actually do anything, and all info provided within, you can easily just Google. Not sure what I even want from a companion app. But a wiki isn't it. Should add a section where you can view builds for characters that others have made. Let people upvote or downvote the builds. That would be relatively useful. And allow you to claim and start research from app too.

I'm fairly happy with the app at 1.0 it has useful features like reminders for research completion, information about my current Descendant equipment & modules, but unfortunately everything is static. I look forward to the ability to start/complete research, access ETA-0, shop/change cosmetics, view & change my stored equipment, lore, experiment with build modules & seeing their stats. I wish these come in 2.0, but certainly not a deal breakers, the app has utility & daily login perks for now.

Definitely a step in the right direction for a companion app. Hopefully we will be able to claim and start research using it in the future. It would be amazing if I could claim my crystallizers and start a new one while I'm on break at work Edit: It would also be amazing if it had a storage section to retrieve and send items like how destiny has vault companion apps. The app itself is fine, gives you all the info about your character(s) and build(s) and weapon(s) but that's all it does and that's why it gets a singular star. You can't take stuff out of your storage or put things into it, you can't move your gear or weapons around to other characters on the fly, you can't change characters or dog's out. It's just a nice looking informative app for the first descendent which is good if you want to talk about something with your build when your not in game.

Pretty good app experience, especially for version 1. I think most people will want to be able to claim and start research from within the app. My slightest annoyance would be when I click the categories and go to the web pages I go from night mode (my default for everything) into a bright white screen. If it's possible to make the web pages either match our settings or if we could get a setting for night mode on those web pages that would be great. Keep up the great work. 👍
