Lost Gaiter

Best app all around. It is one of the rare apps that does audio-only recording from Internal audio source easily. This app has also the best user friendly revenue model. It allows usage of premium features for 3 days by watching an ad. It means I can do it when it is convenient rather than popping up ads in the middle of doing something. This allows me to use the app effectively on several devices occasionally.

This app has been great for recording my college courses among other things. I had a few recordings that came out very hard to hear the professor on and realized turning on the background noise filter while trying to make a different type of recording was the culprit. Since it seems if there's only one voice out shouldn't be filtered out (mind you this was in early 2020 so it may be fixed now) that's the reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. Edited

Great recorder... but the previous version had an option to "refresh" the list of recordings, which is no longer available. So if I delete several recordings from my phone, I have to go into the app and also delete each recording individually if I don't want them to show up in list view. Not a huge deal but kind of inconvenient... This wasn't previously the case. Can you please bring back the "refresh" or "update list" option, whatever it was?? Edited

I was hoping to use this to record my phone calls on Google Voice, apparently the audio cuts out when a phone call is happening. It wouldn't even record my side of the conversation. So it didn't meet my needs. Edit: I am very familiar with NLL apps call recorders, and also Google's phone call recording limitations. on WhatsApp and GVoice calls, they will only pick up one side of the conversation so I was hoping for a workaround. I'm leaving this review to alert others that it won't work. Edited

So far I havnt been able to get any external mics to work properly with this app. I've purchased the pro version expecting it to work and nothing. I've switched out the microphones, and the mics work with my other devices. I've also used 3 different phones and only one of them was even able to access the signal coming from the mic, but there was a horrible echo sound that I could not get rid of. Are there any settings that anybody can recommend that I look at? 1 star for now. Yes I reinstalled.
