Well thought out. The little details make the experience more realistic. The audio and sounds are as real as it gets. The fish behaviour and appearance are matched to the different species.

Thank you so much for that great review! The sequel has just released: Ice Fishing Derby 2. It's a 3D game with 17 species of fish on 22 lakes, all new background dialog and lots of trade offers. My goal is to expand on everything that people like about the original, and the new version has a ton of new features while keeping it mostly casual.

Great game no annoying ads or anything stupid...I do however wish it wasn't so easy the second you get good gear. Although I did die in game yesterday for the first time lol.

Thanks for that review! I hope you'll check out the new sequel, Ice Fishing Derby 2. It's full 3D, with different challenges on different lakes, and in Pro Derbies you pick your own fishing spots as you travel by snowmobile. It's got a lot of new features, and more are in the works.

I've been playing since the start, as an avid ice fisherman theres nothing I hate more than the itch to go as soon as the leaves start to fall. But this game helps me again and again year after year. Thanks pishtech for almost 10 years of awesome fish 🐟

Thanks so much! Now the sequel is available: Ice Fishing Derby 2. Everything from the original is part of the free game in the sequel, plus there are pro derbies with snowmobiling and more lakes available.

I used to play this game a lot in school and I finally just remembered it. I downloaded and bought the paid version just to help out. Even though this game is very simple it is so addicting! I love the fun sayings that you hear in the background they always crack me up because I am from the midwest and alot of the stuf that is said in here is true. Best mobile game I have ever played.

great to be able to buy all gear. BUT....What's the point in having the best of the best if the biggest pike i ever seen still snaps the line. cant upgrade gear any further. Edited
