Pros - Easy to find interesting places along your route. Cons - 1. Don't rely strictly on the Road trippers app. Verify that the place is still open. Many places were out of biz. 2. There's no "offline" mode. If you're without cell coverage or Wi-Fi, the app doesn't work. 3. Exporting stinks. You can export to GPSX, but try importing that to Gmaps from your phone.. Had to recreate the route in GMaps, but even then, the app only copied gps coords, not place names. Frustrating.

Paid for this app last year. Decided to pay again this year. It showed me some interesting places last year, and now they are not even shown this year. Google maps shows them, but not this paid app. I canceled my membership in 5 minutes from paying for Basic, hoping I would get my money back. Nope, now I have a useless annual membership until June of next year. Roadtrippers has gotten very bad. You can find more attractions using Google maps for free. Don't waste your money like I did.

I will be cancelling! I can't map out my route without having to pay ridiculous membership fees for this app. I can't even cancel through my settings I actually have to email them and ask permission to cancel because I don't have an iPhone. It's not worth it, disappointing. I had a trip mapped out and planned. I was so excited for the different stops along the way. I opened the app and it's trying to make me pay to view my trip, so all the amazing places I wanted to stop on the trip are lost. Edited

paid for the annual plan, got to use it for one trip. now when I log on and attempt to plan another trip it says I have to upgrade to a higher $ plan. Could be operator error but I've tried every button possible in the app to bypass that function and so far I'm not getting to plan my trips. I doubt I'll buy again. so far, disappointed. Also discovered on the trip I did take that we missed quite a few attractions not listed in app. not a deal breaker but it is advertised to do just that. bumr.

I thought I was on a 7 day trial, and when I went to cancel at day 4, I was told my membership would be canceled at the end of the year!. Since I paid, the trial was only 3 days!!! I guess I didn't read the fine print. So I'm stuck with it, customer service wouldn't allow any grace period. I will try to use it on this upcoming trip, but I have a really bad taste about it now. Giving it 2 as it seems ok enough if you want to stay at $$$ camping grounds. Customer service...I'd give it a 0 Edited
