This app is supposed to control my various Samsung smart devices in my home. However, for example, it can indicate that my gas stove is turned on, but it cannot check status or turn it off. It can turn on or off my TV, but offers minimal control on channel selection. The "smart" TV can't even remember what channel I last watched soI have to go look for it each time. There is a ways to go for Samsung to really claim these appliances and this app as truly smart.

Overall great app...sadly now random ads pop up despite being turned off. It's quite annoying especially when I jump in to adjust my thermostat and an ad just happens to pop up and I hit that instead. Very frustrating... I'm never going to buy something from some dumb pop up please make it go away..

long time user of SmartThings. After going through a few bands and taking a swing at making my own, it was nice to have something super reliable that integrated into life seamlessly. That said, since around the time of the last update, nothing seems to be working correctly. I get voice commands via Alexa done 5-10 times faster that when attempting with the app. This would be fine except, I can't wait 5 minutes after a door opened for a light to come on of siren to go off. Not sure what to do now

This app keeps on getting worse and worse. It STARTED as a simple remote control, but now it requires me to DOWNLOAD A DIFFERENT WEB BROWSER (despite saying that it supports Firefox) to sign in, and insists on showing ads. ADS. IN MY REMOTE CONTROL. FOR THE TELEVISION THAT I PAID. MONEY. FOR. I will never buy another Samsung device again after this, I can guarantee that.

Non-functional at best, severely hindered by the fact that the app is completely unusable due to the app heavily relying on your Samsung account login while having a non-functional login system. Doesn't help that when on the rare occasion you CAN login that long term support for smart TVs such as the SUHD TV or even brand new Samsung TVS either barely works or doesn't at all. If the need to make everything proprietary and separate didn't drive you away from Samsung, this is just the final straw.
