This is my 1st ever review. It is truly terrible. Call quality is sporadic and there is a lag on every single call. texts don't go through half the time and there are instances where I receive texts days later. I can hang up from a terrible quality call and immediately call that person right back from my main number and the call quality is perfect. I'm constantly having to contact customer service and only get excuses. I strongly suggest NOT using sideline. I'm going to port my number elsewhere.

Went above and beyond to fix my problem. Is it a perfect service? No, none are. But every time I have reached out, their help desk has responded within one or two minutes. And this time it was not an easy fix. Over the course of three or four days, I had several different people from the help desk working on fixing this issue (meanwhile, my phone was working fine, it was just not showing caller id for inco.ing calls). They stayed with me until the solution was found. That means alot.

When receiving calls the phone won't ring so if you're not looking at the phone you won't know you have a call til later on when you go to use the app for a text or something you see you have a missed call notification on a particular contacts bar on your phone screen. (4/22/25) Update: I appreciate the attention to customer concerns. The correction has been made and no more missed calls! I also enjoy the new features available now. Edited

within the app it does not have separate folders for calls and texts. You have on long poorly designed interface. For example. If you get a text from a number and then receive calls throughout the day it is a nightmare to try to find the text unless you go one by one through each number. For an app that charges to use DO BETTER....there ARE BETTER alternatives to Sideline!!! Fix it! Now 4-25-25 still not updated.. Just one big mess of calls and text... This app is worth maybe $1 per month Edited

Needs more user control over phone calls & texts. You can either BLOCK a person or deal with their texts/calls. No in between like personalize ringtones or send to vmail like your real # will do. Not very efficient for dating purposes.. UPDATE 2/14/25 I have been contacting sideline "support" for weeks because incoming calls DROP as soon as I answer. No feedback, no updates, but I'm still paying full price for this substandard service!!! I guess it's time to cancel and find something else.
