I've been using this app for years and never had an issue UNTIL NOW!! I have items that need added to my site, but the app updated on 8/16/24 and it hasn't worked right since! It won't upload a single picture no matter which way I try to do it, no matter where the file is located or what type of file or what size the file is. It won't load them! I can do the description, price, etc. but NO PICTURES. People won't buy if there's no pictures!!

Square has been reliable in low wifi areas. I like the flat rate for all credit cards. I don't like that they have different fees for how the card is used. I would like to see the software to be more customizable and straightforward. Overall, Square POS has been the most affordable, and reliable pos system for my needs as a food truck owner. Edited

Absolutely hate that the change my phone settings every update, which is about every week now. I literally have to text with customer support for 2 hours because they did away with phone support. Their equipment doesn't automatically update even when re-paired and reset from directions from website. This used to be a wonderful app. now it's a bloated mess, 3 steps to find your own equipment. But, they sure want their cut. Just as long as they can sell you more... Right?

Just had the worse Karen of my life yell at me because the square system was acting up. The app said it was accepted and gave me the green check with the last 4 digits of the card, confirming that it was accepted, only to then reset back to the register with the same total. So went back to the trans history and sure enough, there was no charge. So had to ask the client to process the payment one more time, only to show to trans history. So I logged in to the website and sure enough, system down.

Would be great if it wasn't for so many bugs. Switched my business to square and I've regret it since. You can't create new clients at all, it forces you to import them from contacts which doesn't work half the time, and trying to create a customer in the app just gives error codes. Often invoices won't load or send, and the custom items rarely show up as theyre supposed to. Due to bugs it often takes hours to write an invoice with a paragraph in it
