The free version of the app is great. It connects to many brands of devices and gives me a way to interact with others who live farther away. Lately, the app has been offering a free 30 day trial. Like constantly, with a countdown timer. I'd be interested, except I can't actually sign up - the app just gives me an error message. So maybe the developers should make sure the free trial feature works before making a gazillion splash screens that don't work.

Strava used to be so good, but that was long ago. Even when paying for the premium service, the feed is so full of garbage I don't care about that I don't even bother looking anymore. So I stopped paying, and now it nags. A LOT! Honestly, if they would just let me filter the feed to the types of things I'm interested in, that would be enough to get me to subscribe again, but they want to be a social network, not a useful fitness tool.

Love the app, especially the subscription features! (And I'm normally a cheapskate when it comes to subscriptions...) Customer support was also responsive and helpful when I needed them to correct a billing issue. Some features (like creating segments) are desktop-only and would be nice to have on mobile, but that doesn't keep me from leaving a 5-star review. Edited

The free app seemed OK, but I jumped too fast into a family subscription, only to find the integrations are not compatible with any of our devices. While it took a little time, at least Strava's support reverted me back to free and refunded my money in full. I'll be uninstalling it, but I'll move this review from 1 star to 3 stars for that... Simple and effective community running app that is sorely missing certain effective tools and features. One of my biggest complaints has to do with the fact that when I do a run I want to see my "total time", but strava prioritizes "moving time". Another issue is just recently I had issues with GPS and my distance was stated to be 0.28 KM while my watch was indicating I went 1.80KM. I want to adjust the distance however I am unable to edit my activity. This is honestly frustrating.
