I've been using this app for a decade now and paid for it long ago. It has always been my favorite launcher and when it works, it's still awesome! Unfortunately, for the past year (at least) it's frozen completely and you must force quit it from settings (accessed via notification shade) to fix it. I've put in bug reports, and clearly others have this issue too. But nothing gets done, and in fact it's getting more constant. I feel it may be time to find a new launcher, which really sucks.

I've been a paid user for several years. about a year ago this app started frequently freezing. it happens several times a day. often when I'm trying to make quick swaps between apps (usually in a time sensitive situation). the only way to unfreeze it is to search settings for the Nova launcher app and force quit. it's so frustrating and again, usually happens when I need a quick response!! devs claim this is an Android 14 bug. after a year I'm beginning to doubt there's any real effort to fix.

Nova Launcher is such a staple for me, but it's become more glitchy over time and I'm not seeing any engagement from the team when reviewers are commenting on diminished quality. The biggest issues I have is not being able to swipe up my apps (it freezes), or is not loading correctly but the apps are still there but not visible, so if I tap the screen a random app opens. I love customizing my screen, but usability is getting frustrating.

This use to be my favorite launcher but it's become so glitchy. Particularly when it comes to wallpapers. It turns my wallpapers to landscape when it should be portrait. It also does this things where I'll set a wallpaper and it's not in the place I set it. It would be off to the left or right. It annoyed me enough to find another launcher.
