I really don't have the complaints that everyone else is having. set up was perfectly fine. I'm not worried about skipping tracks and my kids have literally never mentioned wanting to do so. honestly it feels kind of old school in that way, like my old read along cassette player. it would be nice to see the charge level of the device but the box gives you plenty of notice. I wasn't interested in the creative tonies but now that I've figured it out it's pretty fun to scroll through the freebies Edited

update: used to be the TB was too loud, with any setting in the app. Now they updated it, and you have a hard time hearing it on the LOUDEST setting. I appreciate you listening to feedback. on this one , we need something in between the old and the new volume levels. please ! and you have to leave a DIRECT CONTROL IN THE APP. I've read your reasoning with Independence and whatnot. I don't care. I buy the product, not the child. Edited

Pretty good and fun! Audio on the box isn't great, low bass levels, but it's just fine for the young ones! My biggest complaint is the voices appear to be soundalikes, so don't expect the same level of performance. Connected and updated to the wifi without issues. For us, the app mostly works. At the moment, we can't add any of the additional content from the store to the tonie. When we click on the red icon, the tonie doesn't come up to assign the content. Edited

Required but doesn't do much useful. You need this app to setup the toy, which is fine, but it does little else. You cannot tell whether a track is a song or a story, you cannot switch or play tracks (and the ability to switch tracks on the box is buggy and broken...it works, but only sometimes and sometimes it simply restarts the track you are on which makes it difficult to figure out which track you are actually on unless you know their starting sounds by heart). Overall poor execution.

Really annoying that the landing screen is always an advertisement that tries to trick you to mistakenly click and buy more stuff. Why isn't the device controls, the tonies, and recordings the absolute front and center thing? I'm not using the app to shop. It's really hard to find where your actual Tonies are, and how to adjust settings on the box. Plus kind of a dumb product decision that the app can't actually control any audio. I like Tonies, but the app is very disappointing.
