This is my second time trying YNAB and I think I finally got it together. the app works pretty well I prefer working on the desktop though. the program is good for managing my money and budgeting seeing where all my dollars are going from my various checking accounts. I'm looking forward to seeing what a year's worth of data looks like.

I'm coming up on a year since I started using YNAB. It has changed the way I look at money and more importantly, how I save money. I've used other budgeting apps over the years, but they did not have the support system to help me learn how to create a budget that works for my family. With YNAB, there are video tutorials on their website and YouTube that teach you about budgeting and for the first in my life I'm controlling my money instead of my money controlling me.

YNAB is a great budgeting ecosystem. From the educational videos, to the bank integrations, to the review and accounting features, it "just works" for my budget and finances. It takes the "every dollar" approach to budgeting without demonizing credit cards. The app specifically puts everything I need on a daily basis, right at my fingertips without an overly complex UI and the widget allows me to view the remaining amounts in each of my top categories without even opening the app.

YNAB is life-changing. Over the 10+ years we've been using it, we've paid off tens of thousands of debt, paid our daughter's wedding in cash, and taken international vacations. It's amazing to have a plan! Important to use both the web version and mobile app for the best experience. There is a learning curve but tons of tutorials & videos that are informative and fun!

YNAB has been a great experience so far. this is the second month that I've used it and because of its strong support for tracking where your money is going and it's principle of putting every dollar to work, I have been able to put more money into savings than I have with previous apps. YNAB gives me the level of detail that I need to feel confident in my budget and in my finances. If you like to be meticulous and detail-oriented in your budget then give YNAB a try.
