coming into vegetable gardening and wanting to be successful can be intimidating. I really feel like this app helps to set up the beginner gardener for success. The only additional thing I would love to see (again as a beginner) is calendar pop-up reminders from the app when to fertilize, water, prune, or any other idiosyncrasies different types of plants may need.

Thank you so much for the thoughtful review! I’m really glad to hear the app has helped make gardening feel less intimidating—that’s exactly what we hoped for. I love your idea about reminders for things like fertilizing and pruning, and it's definitely something we’ve talked about adding in the future! –Carrie

Limited vegetable plant database. Love the app and the AI. Tons of info and very useful but lacks the seed database for your local large big box store, so there is a lot of manual input unless purchasing seeds sold through the app. I absolutely 💯 love the paid features. I subscribed for the annual, only way to go, in my opinion. Update: The web app is very useful. Another star added for usefulness. Please increase database for next growing season. Edited

good bye to this app. had you for a few years now and hadn't been on it due to moving alot these last couple of years. it sucks that you have to pay for it to do anything on this app now so disappointed thought maybe there would be at least a basic package deal where I don't have to spend money but you don't even offer that just a 7 day free trail....no thank you. your just taking up space on my phone no

I’m sorry to hear the app didn’t meet your expectations. Most all of the core features—like planting dates, plant info, and companions—are all free, and we try to keep things as useful as possible without a subscription. Feel free to reach out at [email protected] with help on how to use the free version to the fullest! –Carrie

Very informative, easy to navigate, and fun! This app is a great companion for the novice, intermediate, or experienced gardener. I was inspired by a friend to start a mini garden. She also introduced me to cloth pots and this app. Since then, I have used the app to correlate the time of year to plant some of my favorite vegatables, what size cloth pot to use, and even expected harvest times! These tools make gardening effortless, manageable, & rewarding. We just harvested our 1st green pepper!

It's all right. There's a lot of information, but it doesn't seem to be managed well, since the app is so slow. It's frustrating to use on my phone because the slowness causes unnecessary errors and forces me to redo things that shouldn't need to be redone. It has most generic grocery store food, but most of the foods that naturally grow in my region are not listed. For example, edible succulents. But mostly it's just too slow/buggy for me.
