(edit after response) If balance is what you're after you've gone too far. the banner ads are fine, but having to wait on a fullscreen ad is a little ridiculous. I'm fully willing to pay a one time reasonable price for the app, but anyone with a good grasp on their income and spending knows not to take a subscription on a weather app. I appreciate all the work that goes into it, it's the best one out there IMO, but the monetization clearly wasn't made with user experience in mind. Bedankt voor je review. We begrijpen dat advertenties soms vervelend kunnen zijn. Omdat we dagelijks gratis content aanbieden, maken advertenties dit mogelijk. We blijven werken aan een goede balans.

I tried to look at the weather and a pop-up for a mobile game popped up. I never minded the other ads, but I find pop-up ads unacceptable for a weather app. EDIT to react to their reaction: you had a good balance, that balance is lost with the pop-up ads. EDIT TO RESPOND TO "We continue to work on a good balance." the so called balance has been lost with pop-up ads, I'm changing my rating to one star and uninstalling the app. Edited

Have used this app (Dutch version "Buienalarm") to great effect for years. unfortunately a recent change in privacy policy doesn't allow to properly change cookoe setting, as soon as you don't allow all cookies and data collection, you are rerouted to the choice to either pay or accept all cookies. I'm hoping that's unintentional, regardless I'm not sure about how legal this is. I'm off this app until it's resolved in any case.

Been using the app for years. Most of the time it was accurate and I never had a problem with a small ad at the bottom of the screen. At some point annoyingly, the app started prompting you a lot for sharing personal data, but you always had the option to opt-out of personalized ads. The most recent update however forces the user to either accept sharing of personal data with 360 data collectors or pay. This is not acceptable. I will find an alternative that respects user privacy.

It was a great app until now. I can't turn off personalized ads. So the normal ads weren't enough? Well then I'll delete the app. I'll look up at the sky instead or use an app that doesn't sell my privacy. Shame really. Edit: There is an official Dutch Government app that does the same without ANY ads. It's called KNMI. So not only do I not have to deal with "personalized ads", I don't have to deal with ads at all. Thanks to the Buienalarm team for making me switch! Edited
