Not many quick, off the curb, car rental companies around DC anymore. I guess we're stuck with free2move by default and well, it's not the best thing. Customer service is slow and often unreliable. The app is terrible and the new service model is more expensive than the last. Does anyone else have a rewards button that doesn't work? I was told that rewards haven't been rolled out in America but we have a button for it that leads to a loading screen that never loads up. I really miss car2go 😢

The app is very slow, when I open it, most of the time it says "Connecting" and I'm not able to see any car. When I want to lock the car to end the ride, I have to keep closing and opening the app so it finally loads the cars in the map and I can see mine. The big problem is that it charges per minute so I lose time and money with that. I have a good phone and good internet so the problem is 100% the app. Apart from that, the parking rules are super restrict so I always prefer Miles. Edited

Latest update broke the app. I've used it consistently on a weekly basis and it has worked ok. No frequent problems. Now there is a 10% chance that the car opens. Doesn't give me any reason, just says service not available now. No error code, that is just bad programming. It is clearly a bug, I spoke to support they had a standard answer, shut down Bluetooth and restart the app. That sometimes works, for now I have to stop using a service that I've relied every week.

it's become a nightmare dealing with the app, customer service, and the over all use of the vehicles. the last car I had wouldn't lock, and the engine would be cut off remotely until the app loaded enough for me to resume my trip. I've been over charged, under comped, and left almost stranded, and I'm done with it. I called and was told nothing could he done to help me, so I'm switching to lime. Edited

i like the radar function. but overall there is a lot of room for improvement in terms of reliability. also wasnt able to use a car today because it had dent on the side. tried to report it but the functionality seems broken, so the only option was too call a hotline. the hotline had a 9 minute wait. so i had no choice but to walk to another car 10 minutes away in a scetchy neighborhood. thanks ...
