On my Google TV, this is absolutely unusable. It's been bad for a long time, but it's somehow gotten worse. Start playing and 10 seconds later it kicks out. No other streaming product has an issue on this TV. Works fine on the NVidia Shield though. I love the content, and now you're forcing me to tolerate a bad experience. At some point I'll just cancel. Paramount Plus/CBS really should be wondering why they have such a low rating for their app. I have over 20 apps on my TV and theirs is the ONLY app that gives me trouble every single time I use it. This app needs a lot of work. With all the errors you would think it was a middle school class project. it's always having "technical difficulties" when you open it or when you start a show. Sometimes you'll get kicked out to the Google TV home screen when you start a show. This app won't interact with the Continue Watching section on Google TV's home screen either. seeing as I'm not the only one that has issues with this app, add to the fact that we're paying for this app, CBS needs to start listeningbefore they lose more subscriberslistening. this app is so ridiculously bad for Google tvs.it takes 2 hours to watch a 40 minute TV show because you have to keepuninstalling and reinstalling the app after it suddenly stops and won't let you back in.so many times, I start a show I see the opening credits and then it boots me back to the homepage.sometimes when I make it into the actual show, it suddenly just stops. everything goes black

always have trouble starting a movie or a show with this tv app because I always get an error message saying it has problem playing it and to try again later until I force start the app which doesn't always fixes it. that only happens on the tv app. Updated the app on 7/18/25 and still issues with it cause now it stops playing after a few minutes. the programming has been getting better however paramount plus still is unable to stream their own program's. The persistent freezing and skipping has gone from bad to worse, when it was originally only one time during the run of 2 episodes. That was just in dealing with the last update, I had hoped they would have fixed it with the next update. It has only gotten worse. The original application was able to run without ever freezing or skipping. The more money that they push into programs the less there is for app stability, it's not the live broadcast either only their proprietary programs. This was a five star app that used to be the only place to get CBS broadcasts, now it's using Star Trek to get people to keep it. Edited
