I travel extensively. National is my primary rental car agency. That being said, this app is very clunky. A major company like this should be able to do much better. Usually I will go to the computer or call them instead of trying to use the app. Quite often, the app will not even let you do basic things like making modifications to a reservation. It is only really good for me to look at to see if my assistant made a reservation or checking the reward level. They need to fire whomever they had doing it and start from scratch. It couldn't get any worse-- Edited

Why do they make these freaking updates that render the app useless. It's so frustrating how the purpose of the app is to make this streamline but something as simple as extending a rental has too many bugs and then just gives an error message of "please call the number for additional support". It was PERFECT 2-3 years ago I've literally had to rent for over 10 months at a time and the app was perfect. This new format is full of bugs and glitches making this such a bad experience.

The new version of this app s***ks. It's infuriatingly slow. Takes me back to my computer from 1995. I used to love National and let all my peers know about their service. I've actually tried to rent cars 3 times now and it's so slow and has come back with random prices that I gave up all three times and rented from the competition. Please bring back the old app. Lightning fast and allowed me to make reservations quickly.

What happened? New version is a pretty redesign, but so much slower. It takes 3x as long to make a reservation as before. The previous version had very few problems (regular booking and free day booking were on different screens), but was overall very solid. Separately, why do some airport locations require me to enter my arrival airline, and then offer names that no longer exist, some in over 30 years? Here's looking at you, Pan Am. Edited

Great overall. Only major complaint is the inability to modify a reservation several times. You can extend your rental just fine but if your plans change and you need to drop off at a different location you still have to call them. Also sometimes bit sketchy with Emarld Checkout (sometimes fails to scan barcodes or complete the process).
