Edit: and now it works after I complain. Bruh. Original review: It was working fantastically... Until samsung/Google pushed an update, now it's next to useless. Now a lot of things are getting past the screening. I Uninstaller and reinstalled the app and there's no change. Wish there was a report button of some sort to notify the team and send some diagnostic data and or images to review. Have a Samsung s23 if that helps. Happy to adjust review if it works again. Fantastic app. I don't mind it being overly sensitive, I prefer that over the alternative. Definitely stops me in my tracks. My big wish is that this worked on other platforms like Apple and Windows. And it would be neat if they added a website block list option so I don't have to have multiple blocker apps.

it unfortunately does not do what I was expecting. rather than preventing porn from appearing, blocking it, etc... it closes whatever it is that hosts the image or video. basically making it impossible to use social media, temu, and several other things where displayed content is out of your control. i use temu to get cheap gun parts but i cannot shop on it because of anime displates on the cite. I love the idea and inititive but it doesnt work how I was hoping.

overall, this app has been really helpful. the problem I keep running into is that it will back out saying something inappropriate is on the screen when it's just a close-up of a hand. or it'll back out on a video call with my wife when only her face is showing. these problems need to be fixed.

Was a great blocker for a while. Though at some point it came to my attention that the VPN was removed, it no longer enforces safe search and the ai image detection doesn't work in incognito mode any more. I have dropped my rating to 2 stars and have paused my subscription with them in hopes that they deal with these issues, as I'm unwilling to pay for a service that doesn't do the job as it should/use to do well.
