Updating 6/22/24 to say that the app worked fine again for another 7 months, now is crashing upon trying to open any messages or calls. Update on 6/28/2024 After one week of being down it's back up and running with no issues. It's great when it works but super frustrating when it doesn't. This is a great app when it works. Hope they keep it right this time. Edited

This app has been great!!! It has become exactly what I needed, (2 phone#'s-1device) and it works better than par. It has only stopped once. However, I wrongly presumed, that I would be creating a new contacts list within the app for my business customer's and contacts. Instead, my personal contact list was imported to the app. This was a major drawback, and a disappointment. .....I'm sure I'll find the right app for the job tho.

UPDATE: It got to the point where we couldn't sent text images and regular texts would sometimes send, sometimes not. Our location and use did not change, this was simply an app failure - can't have that for business communication. We had no choice but to switch the number away from smartline. (And yes, we called in, went through the steps. "Known issue" even though it wasn't reported on GoDaddy status page.) PREVIOUS REVIEW We use heavily for business. It's mostly functional, but its buggy. Edited

This app has become almost unusable. Every other time I try to open it, the app freezes and gives the "app is not responding" message. On top of that, whenever I can get it to open, sometimes it takes several hours to load a text message. I can see from the home screen that there is a new message, but when I open the actual conversation, it does not show up. Similarly, oftentimes I try to send a text, and it fails to send. I will be looking for a different app to use for a second phone line. Edited

Can't make outbound calls. Nor can I send texts. I was instructed to log out, which I did. Now I can't get into the app at all. I have tried to have this issue resolved by holding on, then speaking with someone, to holding some more for well over an hour. Issue isn't resolved. So now I must call them again in the morning, may be less of a hold time. About to find someone else for my business contact. Update: I had my vpn on and from what I was told from the 2nd technician, you can't have a VPN. Edited
