For how messaging apps go, it's okay. I was forced to switch messaging apps after the Message+ app was discontinued. I greatly miss the option to customize the background of each individual text thread and the ability to change the individual text tone for each person, as I used to have specific tones set for certain people. I also don't care for the fact that they limit you to 10 pictures allowed to be sent at a time. There's not enough room to list everything I wish was changed here.

App worked well until the last update. All of a sudden I have to keep turning off my phone because the entire text screen just blanks out and I can't receive or send texts. I can see everyone's texts, but as soon as I click and go send a text, I get a blank screen. Cleared the cache, checked the settings and then decided to come here and see the reviews. Unacceptable Google. I have had all types of phones on both sides of the aisle and never have had problems with my meaning app. Do better.

Today's update juat killed voice clips. Just says "recording cancelled" as soon as you start one. Please fix it...and maybe quit fixing things that aren't broken. I truly resent Verizon for forcing me to use this app. The difference between this and their text app is immense. I want to send larger videos, record voice clips as long as I want, and it not be random as to what length is allowed. When it works, it's OK...but they need to do better.

Google LLC: "We've recently updated the photo attachment feature in Google Messages, and the camera now opens directly for quicker photo sharing." That is the exact update I gave this app a one-star for. It doesn't allow users to access the full photo gallery. If you want to send a photo from weeks ago or earlier, you would have to scroll through each individual photo for minutes at a time instead of accessing your gallery and its albums. Please fix this feature. It made the app harder to use. Edited

I was forced to switch to this because it was the only one that was supported by my samsung watch. Until this most recent update, things were just fine. Now I can't send pictures in group text, only individually. So annoying because I have several group messages where we share photos all the time. I tried all the help and support stuff, yet nothing worked. Just keeps saying "still sending"
