It's good - looking, pretty user - friendly, and not too hard to understand - but Simple Gallery CAN'T or WON'T do one of the things that I'm currently looking for in an app: unhindered, customizable, movable photo ordering. Even when I make a new folder or album, either the "sort by" or "group by" settings (if not BOTH of them) force my pictures to be in a set order based on SOMETHING (name, date, file size, file type, etc.). I can't even move the pictures I DID upload to be how I want either.

I use this app for many years and it was fine. Now I get more ads then I can tolerate. Sometimes I have to wait up to 30 seconds for the video add to stop, before I can view a photo. Then if I switch to another folder I have to go through the same process. The functionality of the folders and managing photos is very good, but the advertising is painful period for this reason I stopped using Simple Gallery.

There are other ways to display ads and still allow a person to use the app. Mood texting for example, there a small banner at the top or bottom. This is not a free game. Ad culture has gone overboard. Not even worth the attempt as all I did was open an album. Refuse to pay premium if I can't use the free version. Your response does nothing to excuse making it impossible to try the features. Seriously stop trying to push the product with full page ads. Other apps manage to make it unobtrusive. Edited

We are sorry to hear that the ads caused inconveniences. Ads are usually part of the free trial period. We have a free and a paid version of the App. Our Premium version opens up more features. You can try it out during the free trial. You may also wish to choose the free version with fewer features available.

Sadly, I had to come back and use this non-premium version since the other paid one is giving me troubles again (I've used it too for years). This is a good alternative, although ads will constantly show up, but this is more stable (this doesn't stop functioning etc.) Unlike the premium version for some reason. However, that is still worth a try. Edited

I liked this free app and used it for years because of its simplicity. Now they've forced this free trial period on everyone, at the end of which you either have to pay for the full app (which has features I never needed or wanted) or stop using the app. Guess I'm doing the latter. It's a shame, really. Edit in response to developer: It's about the principle of the matter. I don't care how tiny the fee is. Don't suddenly make people pay for something that used to be available for free. Edited

Hey, it is just a tiny one time payment, you will never have to pay again :) If you uninstall the paid app within 2 hours, you are automatically refunded. If you want a refund anytime later just contact us.
