Maddeningly inconsistent auto-connectivity to devices. You can only have two devices connected and when you turn one off to connect to another you have to turn on, it frequently crashes or just gets confused and I have to play whack-a-mole with turning things on and off to try to get the connection. It's been this way for ages and by now I doubt the experience will improve. The headphones are great but I wouldn't buy them again just because of the app. Maybe wired ones, but not these. Edited

Very few apps on the market are as useless or as buggy as the Bose Connect app. When the SoundLink Flex came out, they advertised the ability to connect the speakers together. If only Bose took the time to actually make this function possible. When pairing the speakers together, they immediately both turn off. It takes about 5 or more tries to get them to connect. And when you do, if you stop playback and play a different thing, they again will immediately shut off. Zero functionality at all.

Connect is just a description not a function. I thought this app performed inconsistently on iOS... well it's almost non-existent on Android. An observation I've made with many of the Android versions of apps compared to iOS. Rarely does it actually make a successful connection to my speaker. I suggest skipping the app and the disappointment of its promised conveniences and just connect to it through Bluetooth manually.

one of the worst apps I have ever worked with. Consistently won't connect your speakers or simply disconnects your speakers. if you are in the market for speakers to pair, DON'T but bose speakers, go with another brand that actually invests in their apps. bose speakers sound great, but a waste of money if you want to connect multiple speakers because the app simply does not work well. Do better Bose. UPDATE: app still sucks, buy a JBL speaker! Edited

The sound quality is top-notch. the build quality is sleek and robust. I would like to give my QC 35II a 5-star rating... except it's glitch when I transition from my phone, my laptop and my TV. For whatever reason, it's not connecting automatically when I click "connect." I end up re-booting the headphones at least twice a week. It's extremely frustrating! C'mon, Bose. I know you can do better than this. I'm about to get the Sony equivalent just to avoid this hassle.
