I like being able to adjust the thermostat in my home from anywhere. What I REALLY don't like is that the app asks me every time I open it if I want to allow notifications. I answer no every time, and it will still ask me again the next time. I don't see any way to stop that prompt from occurring without enabling notifications. Outside of the annoying prompt, the app works well and communicates as expected with our thermostat.

Works great. Much better than ecobee. I just wish the main screen displayed the temperature of all sensors. It's a bit annoying having to go into the settings to see the readings in other rooms. All sensors should be on the home page of the app. Currently it will only display the temperature of the thermostat itself. Edited

4/30/25: it went down again, 2 or 3 days ago. I feel like this app spends more time telling me system offline than actually being usable. every few months it'll go to system offline. sometimes it comes up after a week, other times it takes over a month. all customer service does is tell me to do everything I've already done and then that there's an outage with a resolution date that passes with no fix. This app is subpar and definitely inferior. The geofence feature is why I bought this thermostat and it doesn't reliably work. When it fails to work properly I have to restart the phone uninstall and reinstall the app and reconfigure the Wi-Fi. It's annoying to have to do this frequently. It should be set up once and continue working in perpetuity. The app needs a serious overhaul so that it can deliver on the services it provides reliably. I would encourage customers to look for other services.

App is great. The only thing it's missing is the ability to set a range, like you can on a Google Nest, and just have the temperature stay in that range. Currently you have to pick heat or cold schedule. This time of year, when it's cold at night and hot during the day, it would be nice to be able to set a range, for example, of 68 - 72 degrees fahrenheit, and the heat or AC would just turn on as needed to keep it in that range.
