Thoughtful and easy to use app! I like how you can time the blinds to open +/- an hour around sunrise/sunset. It would be better to be able to set them more than an hour off sunset for reducing glare. Also compatible with Google home but I would love to be able to open/close based on weather and sun/heat index. Edited

App works great. The hardware / Software controllers not so much. I left a review before with an inconsistency on the Google Home setup, that seems to be resolved. But the main issue now is that 1) my Tradfri remotes disconnect randomly and need a power cycle to sync 2) one (random) lamp in a cluster randomly turns on by itself and that's very inconvenient at night in the bedroom.

There are a couple of issues with the app as it stands today 12/6/22. Scenes do not always work, especially those using sunrise/sunset as a trigger mechanism. It's inability to use geofencing is limiting, requiring another platform that makes using scenes/routines a choppy process. Also, it is still a closed ecosystem, unable to work with non-Ikea branded products. Update: They reached out to me asking what is not working. All I can say is scenes using sunrise/sunset do not ALWAYS run. Edited

Hej! Ok we will have a look. Have you tried to delete them and set them up again? Please update your app to the latest version 1.2.0. You can also try to unplug the hub for a few seconds and let it start up again. Please also check if you have enabled location access for the IKEA Home smart app, try to revoke and grant access again./IKEA Home smart

Frustrated with this APP. Had our system of 2 rooms, 3 blinds each all connected to hub and app, also connected to Google Assistant. All working great. We change nothing. 1 of the blinds in each group has dropped out, and the app no longer finds the hub. If I do a factory re-set, I'm starting everythign over. What a pain. wish this stuff worked consistently! Got the system working again by resetting the hub and going through the connection process and linking to google with all the blinds agai Edited

Hej! Thanks for reaching out. Factory reset should not be necessary. For the blinds: Does the blind appear online/offline in the app? Does it still react to a remote? Have you tried to remove the battery for a minute? Did you try to turn the hub and router off and on again? /IKEA Home smart

Doesn't let me install the hub. Instead, I get an error message that the hub is not downloading the latest software update and to reset the hub. Even after I reset it, I keep getting the same error message. UPDATE (4/5): I installed the app on my iPad and was able to connect to the hub. However, the app on my Android Google Pixel can't find the hub. Edited
