Edit: they added a back up and restore which is great, but now the app has issues opening. and yes, I tried uninstall and reinstall. it's not helping. it keeps force closing. again. at this point it's not worth it to keep trying. the app has been great, but now keeps force closing. I contacted Phillips and the only way to fix it is to uninstall and reinstall it.. however if you do this, you lose all progress. my son is over 700 brushings. There needs to be a way to back up and restore data. Edited

This app was great when we first got it, but sometimes the app won't let me give my kids credit when we brush without the app. My kids are also starting to get bored with the presents and features as they are getting fairly monotonous. However, now we can't even use the app because it crashes immediately every time I open it. Update 7/26/2025 It's fixed. Edited

We just got this device and so far it's been pretty frustrating. We have stood right beside our son as he has brushed for the full 2 minutes on oscillation and it *still* won't record it. We can't figure out the parent credit system no matter what we try, so we can't even mark it as complete. We have to run his brush twice just to have it count. We also have used a timer to see if the brush only goes for a minute but the timing has been right. Something is seriously messed up with the app!

Great when it works, but lately it's been impossible to use the app. The new backup feature let me move my kids from a very old phone that stopped connecting to the brushes. I then changed to a third phone. Worked fine for a bit. but now the app opens and crashes repeatedly and it takes us an hour to get it to work so they don't lose their streak. And any time you log out/change phones/reinstall, it makes them waste 10 mins reopening all of the gifts they've earned so far before they can brush

Edited review: The app is now fixed! My kids love this app and it has worked the best for us out of all we have tried. Old review: App has recently become totally unusable. It closes itself out or restarts over and over when opening, or if it successfully opens it does this when trying to load the child's profile. I did try logging out and back in, and also uninstalled the app and reinstalled it with no success. This is upsetting because the app was the only reason we bought these toothbrushes. Edited
