Not sure what changed but the app is stuck forever in the "connecting" phase about 80%-90% of the times I want to use it. It's NOT my Internet, and uninstalling and reinstalling the app is such a pain because I have to reconnect everything. I bought the more expensive clock specifically for ease of use with the app, but it often just doesn't connect. When it does, the app is ok, but it's just such a pain to use. The alarm clock itself is poorly designed and hard to program without the app. Edited

Please remove the power plug from the Somneo and insert it back after 5 minutes, turn WiFi off/on again via the Somneo display and, if the issue persists, try a factory reset. No. Not what you're looking for. It's a whole separate routine to go through with the phone and the lamp and you wifi each and every night. You can't change anything without connecting to both. It's a hassle, and there is zero functionality as a lamp/light - only as a wake up sunrise/sunset. Expected better functionality at this price range. Better app performance - why WOULDN'T it start up at the same time nightly? Isn't rhythm the goal? Just a confused Hue bulb trying to find it's place. Edited

Love the lamp, but there are a few qualms I have about it. You can't set the snooze to be different for different alarms. Want 5 minutes of snooze during the week and 30 during the weekend? You can't. Secondly, now that it's gotten brighter, I can tell that the alarm is dependent on the light in the room rather than the half an hour set for the alarm to actually go off at all. The sunrise starts, but the alarm now always wakes me up later than it's supposed to, which is a problem for an ALARM

The notification "Get ready It's time to go to bed to get a full night of sleep 🔔" infinitely loops when it's 30 minutes before I need to go to sleep. I've tried force stopping the app, but as soon as I restart it it starts looping again. I can't uninstall the app because I need it in order to use this $200 alarm clock, but I can't exactly go to sleep with my phone buzzing every 5 seconds!!!

No longer able to connect to headband. It takes forever to even sync it. It shouldnt take more than 30 minutes every night trying to get the headband connected. The app just doesn't find it, turning on/off the headband, my phone, Bluetooth, nothing helps. This has been an ongoing issue. I have tried hard resetting the headband several times, it connects for a day then I have the connectivity issues all over again. Edited
