Used SmartPay but apparently something went wrong in the app without any indication. 3 months later received a fine for fueling without paying. Watch out. Update: support is non existent - I provided all the information in April '24, they asked a few questions then just disappeared. Pity. I mean, how hard it'd be to check system logs when I provided an exact time? Edited

Had the app for a while but have only just started to regularly use it. Easy to use and offers okay e.g food and occasional fuel. Only negativity is that despite me closing the app down and turning off notifications etc it keeps autostarting and asking me to play the Costa coffee game on my main screen each time I go to look at my phone. I guess it wants to take centre stage but it needs to work in the background. Not sure wether to delete or disable until I need to use the app.

Had to switch as Recharge app is discontinued. However, not able to add charging card due to "try again later". Charging with the app ONLY works with shared location. No possibility anymore to add favorites. Some charging stations are shown as a summarizing "2" or "4" bubble (as though they were individual ones) even on maximum zoom, making it impossible to select the station. Overall, the charging part is a major downgrade...

Pointless! Messing around to open an app designed by a multi billion pound company, to get £1.09 off my fuel, or 50p off a Costa coffee, nevermind. While places like Tescos do better rewards, it makes this app absolutely no use. Come Shell, you can can offer better rewards than this, no incentive whatsoever! Even filling up as much as I do on a 4.0L V8, there's no benefit. Uninstalled 🤷

Overall good but no way to set a electric charging tariff via App. After multiple times reaching out to the support they told me charging tariffs are not available yet in Austria without a timeline when they will be available. So for me and anyone in Austria driving an electric car, the app is nothing more than collecting points for drinks or snacks. Edited
