I genuinely like the T-Mobile scam shield. However, since the update to T-life, it has become arduous to use. Now I have to go through the entry process as another step to find the scam shield after all the sales pitch info. Then I can only select the most recent phone call (or a sequence without skipping) and not a singular call down the list to block independently of other numbers. This has become NOT user-friendly.

Very useful; incredibly slow; times out constantly. Great feature set: identifies suspicious calls; gives caller details straight from the network; good reporting and options; choice of block and send to voicemail; overly paranoid auto filter option, as they all are. However. The app times out during launch, loading recent calls, lookups, and reporting. This kills its utility. I suspect the app's been abandoned. Plus, T-Mobile, as usual, never responds to feedback. They could not care less.

When activated this app attracts many more spam calls and text messages. Many calls are not identified but turn out to be spam. The caller ID is very disappointing maybe it's because many lines are through computers now I don't know just a little disappointed. I think there should be the choices clearly to tap on when you get a call not have to search like you're trying to find something in a Samsung phone Edited

I recommend Scam Shield. Blocks tons of scam calls. Make sure if you change your plan you still have it set up and keep the app until the day comes that it's not available. There seems to be a disconnect between scam shield and t-mbile life. All was fine until I changed my plan via the tmobile life app. Showed as I had premium, wasn't getting charged for it, may or may not be part of the plan. We'll see. I've got the app set up again so I'll try to remember to update after the next bill cycle.

This bundleware was preinstalled on my phone so I thought I would try it out. As soon as I attempted to try it, I noticed that there are no features available unless i pay to unlock "premium". Basically, the 9nly features it has are only available if you pay for "premium", therefore it's useless to keep installed on my phone. I'm not going to pay to see if it works or not. BYE BYE!
