meh. I had to add logins by hand because the import from elsewhere didn't catch everything. immediately right after adding it, they can't find a login. Doesn't automatically detect login fields or offer to auto fill. free version doesn't allow for credit card storage. clunky UI. it's hard to find what you are looking for. not easy to get to password generator. I'm going back to bitwarden.

I just started using this app. so far I am not impressed. The auto fill feature doesn't reliably work on websites with multi page logins i.e. username on one page then password on another. This format is increasingly common and Proton need to support it asap to stay relevant. Edit: The autofill is very bad. The response to flag websites that it flubs is silly because there is no easy way to do so. You have to open a support ticket. This is also true of the desktop version. Edited

I waited to rate this app, and I'm glad I did. Proton has developed an ecosystem into which this fits nicely; it has grown and developed side features like private notes, and alias e-mails to reduce spam and spyware, well as browser integration, which means it has replaced my previous password manager (LastPass). Versatility, compatibility, and first and foremost, security. Proton is on a win streak.

The search experience remains confusing. I'm frequently having to manage passwords because multiple accounts are created for the same domain for some reason. I will have old passwords attached to an account which I definitely updated. What's worse, search is effectively useless as I have to look at each password for a given domain to differentiate between them. Edited

Easily the best password manager I have used as a Systems Administrator the new feature to add & save databases and servers as templates that includes items like IPs, ports, server/database hostname, user, pass, and an additional note in a single template is amazing. I will be supporting the business subscription for a long time. the pop up has issues sometimes with browsers or certain apps but so do the other managers I have tried. The Proton suite is quickly becoming a staple in my life.
