I see some critical reviews due to this wallet being only for BTC. I, for one, hope it stays that way forever. I use the Proton suite because of its commitment to privacy and security without sacrificing beautiful and intuitive UI, and IMO, bitcoin is the only digital currency that fully aligns with the Proton mission. If you want to go gamble in crypto casinos and/or engage in memecoin speculation, there are plenty of alternative wallets out there to choose from.

I really appreciate that it is only Bitcoin. It's amazing that I can buy straight from my PC, It would be good to be able to buy from my phone. But I love how it is now.

I appreciate what Proton is doing, but this wallet only works with Bitcoin. I have many crypto currencies and this isn't any different than the other wallets I use.

🤨 A single function Bitcoin Wallet... It's 2025... Wallets are a dime a dozen. This also lacks basic functionality for other crypto currencies or web 3. Sorry, but it brings nothing new to the table. Please refocus back to core services, like proton mail & drive, both still need lots of work.

used it a couple of times and it is good . maybe in future I will decide to go with a VPN subscription too
