The app isn't bad. The customer service line is extremely unhelpful. The actual reps are polite but either don't know what they are doing or are taught to be obstructive. Without working there I can't know which, but it feels a lot like the latter - giving lip service without actually helping. And the computer that answers is very bad at actually parsing/understanding your requests. (Or, again, it could be by design to try to cut costs.)

This app is purely awful. 90% of the time it's just impossible to log in. Starts with a username field not being marked as such in the code so whenever you try to autofill your login credentials, the browser doesn't let you pick a saved username. Once you finally able to pass thru the first gate, it makes you resubmit your 3 security questions. Every friggin time. And the best part? Once you've typed all the answers, the app says "system error. Please try again" EVERY single time. Edited

The app is impossible to log into. After entering your username and password you get redirected to the security questions then a system error prevents you from progressing. I've called Citibank and they don't know why it is happening. The only things they suggest are using the desktop version or deleting and reinstalling the application.... that didn't help either.

It rarely works. It just cycles. I always have to go online with my laptop. So annoying. Also, why do you have the transactions showing up in "unbilled transactions" when it's actually billed? Have you ever used other banking mobile apps? Don't make it so people have to think. Go read the book, Don't Make Me Think by Steve Krug. Edited

Worst banking app ever. I wish I didn't have to use a citi travel card because this app shows no useful information. It shows more "pending " transactions then actual transaction history. History doesn't extend to previous statements. I click on payment history and nothing shows up. I guess its not much of a "history" as it is a recent (i.e., with in a week ? ) payments. You have to annoyingly agree to the gov terms and conditions every time you log in.
