This rating isn't for the app. It's my personal opinion on the card itself, I activated the card today, and the severe lack of flexibility on loading the card with any amount you can afford, having the in-store loading options to only cash up front and not being backed by a financial institution that allows account growth when not in use just seems to make this card's use very limited. It seems better to get a OnePay card where you get more than getting less with this card.

Thanks for the feedback! In addition to cash, you may load your Target Circle Card Reloadable Account through Direct Deposit, ACH transactions initiated from your bank account, mobile check deposit, or receive money from another Target Circle Card Reloadable Account. You can also initiate credit/debit transactions from your PayPal/Venmo accounts.

Was good, now this update happened and the layout is senseless. It was convenient to have my account and subaccount in one place. Open the app, transfer money, continue with my day. Simple 1, 2, 3. Whose idea was it to place the subaccounts in another page creating unnecessary steps to simply transfer money? So now, instead of being able to see all your accounts and transfer money in one place, you have to go tapping around the app. I don't want to spend more time in an app than I need to.

Trying to add money by check (because Target advertises adding money from a bank account...this seems to be the only way), and the app crashes continually so it's impossible. Short of going to a Target, which is at least a half hour drive for me, there's no other way to add money to this card. Also the Target app still does not recognize the card as a RedCard. This has so far been a total waste of time.

Thank you for your feedback, Kassie. You may be able to add money to your RedCard Reloadable account from your checking or savings account by initiating a transfer from your bank account into your RedCard Reloadable account. Please consult your bank for transfer timing information.

Excellent app once you figure out how to link your bank account. It was really annoying to have to deposit money in store with an employee. Most of the time they had no idea what I was talking about. Now I can just transfer whatever amount i need from my bank app and still have the benefits of a RedCard. That 5% off really adds up so I recommend this card and app to anyone who shops a lot at Target but doesn't want to be tied to, or can't get their other RedCards.

UPDATE: I sent an email to the email mentioned in the response to my review. I received an auto response email that sent me to the website, which said call the 800 number. Still unhelpful. My card worked a total of one time. Customer service is completely unhelpful and I need to pay 5$ for a replacement card? I can't even load money to my account in order to pay for that. So I guess I'll skip my extra 5% off. Thanks for nothing. Edited
