it sure would've been nice to know that first time people can't rent more than 1 bike.... before i installed it. The information to contact somebody at blue bikes was quite difficult to find. also. the policy is that you need to rent from them three times prior before you can actually rent multiple bikes. I'm not sure what reasoning is needed for that. I had a family in to Boston and I was the only one that had a phone. I could only rent one bike. did make a lot of sense to me. never renting fro

the app service is very reliable. However, when a bike docking station is full, they provide no compensation for the extra distance you will be forced to go to get to another station that is available. Unfortunately, what the staff at bluebikes and Lyft do not understand or presumably refuse to acknowledge is the time it takes to walk back to your destination from an alternative station which is at least 15 minutes if their are no exceptions like the boston marathon which could take a good 45min

Works well for what it needs to do, but seems unnecessarily resource-heavy compared to other similar apps, and it sends ads via notifications with no apparent setting to turn them off. I had to disable notifications from the app at the operating system level, but that means potentially missing actually important notifications too.

This app is good but it could be better. For me it doesn't snap exactly to my location upon startup and I find it a bit slow to calculate a route for you. It's hard for people who are red green color blind to use, and the docks switch colors when you are out on a bike so that green becomes empty rather than full. It might be better to simplify to a single blue bar denoting how many bikes are at a dock. Overall a great service and I'm glad to see the city adopting more bike friendly practices.

Why do you have to ruin something that worked flawlessly before putting a huge major overhaul update? The app is so confusing now. It was so simple before. We don't need to know we're getting a free ride everytime. We paid for a membership we know what it has. Why do we need directions? We can use Google maps for it. PLEASE ADD BACK FAVORITES. Why does it have to so hard to see our daily stations. So confusing with maps filled with stations. This is ridiculous. Updates have ruined blue bikes. Edited
