Nice interface but the information and guidance is very basic. This guide is like having an AI voice read you the first paragraph of the wikipedia description of the locations. No guidance at the site or specific information. Additionally, the "offline" mode only works when you're online. I was looking for an experience similar to shakaguide. This is not that. I recommend looking elsewhere for audio guide resources.

a good start, but for me it fell short. first, the AI voices are terrible and the pronunciation of names/places was the worst version of an American attempting to pronounce things. it was painful. second, the path it had me take between some points didn't make sense and I would have missed so many great (and important) things along the way. finally, the info itself was short and nothing I wouldn't be able to get online. nothing special, no storytelling. also, ate so much of my phone battery. I use this as a backup option for audio tours if Rick Steve's doesn't offer one. The app does require a lot of permissions and can use a lot of battery. The quips and comparisons in the guides are jarring (AI generated) and should be removed. I wish there was an option to switch between the detailed and simple audio guide since I had to listen both in Brussels. It's nice that some of the tours are free.

Said it would work without internet of downloaded in advance. I got to Chichen Itza and the map feature did not work. So I was trying to correlate a single small picture to figure out what ruin I was at, so I could listen to the proper audio. The audio itself was very underwhelming also. I did this one first out of necessity, I'm sure there are better apps.

Just finished walking the NYC West Village route, and it was bad. Audio directions are mostly non-existent (NONE of the actual POIs directed me what to do next) or terrible (walk towards X, when i may not know where X is). No way to make it without looking at the map. Map itself is buggy, zoom level and rotation resets often, map often refuses to manually rotate, compass arrow point the wrong way after rotating). Hard to understand what POIs refer to. Not enough POIs. Just... underwhelming :(
