Since February this year after a system update, this app doesn't allow me access due to a Malware notification. I have encountered this before with UOB's banking app where the same issue occurred as accessibility access was given to my security software. The UOB staff promptly resolved the matter. However, when contacted DBS, they refused to entertain to my problem. Notably this app installed on other devices with the same settings didn't have this problem. I am now using Digibank on old devices

Ever since the DBS server interruption in Nov 2021, it has been impossible to contact customer service through the DigiBot feature. Even after reinstallation, it's still no use. The app just hangs. Also, there is absolutely no reason to ask for phone contacts and phone media to complete app installation. As other users have said, it's too invasive and unnecessary. Edited

The auto scroll function on the main screen is very irritating. Please don't make the app scroll by itself. The user should have full control when to stop scrolling, not the app. When the app scrolls automatically, the user will press on the wrong things, because the icons move unexpectedly. This is a bad design decision that is not intuitive. Edited

Sends me a lot of promotional messages (i.e. "Looking to upgrade your iPhone? Get up to $100 off instantly..."). This is supposed to be a banking app. I expect messages related to my bank transactions or security messages. Not ads. Not spam. In the end, this just results in users like me blocking all notifications from DBS, which might result in security risks, since users might not receive important notifications. Instead, DBS should consider adding notification channels so that users can selectively turn off certain types of notifications they are not interested in.

Several issues with the usability. 1) "Scan & Pay" in the main screen: after scanning, I am only presented with options to login using SMS OTP or bank token. I am unable to log in using my fingerprint. 2) Leaving the app without logging out: the next time I perform any action I am shown a session timeout prompt. If I tap "Continue banking", I still cannot perform any action. It will bring me to the session timeout screen again.
