Review is for smart lights. App has limited capabilities. simple things like customizations for groups are not available. So if you have 4 lights set up in a hallway to provide soft lighting, you can customize each lights default colors and brightness. But for the group, only a few default colors are available, and they are not customizable. So you have to tweak each light individually. Also, it would be nice to be able to enter the value of the color so there is no guesswork as you customize. Edited

I feel like this is false advertising. My C425 cameras advertised that they are compatible with Google Home but it appears they are not viewable from in the app. This means that if you have cameras from multiple manufacturers you are unable to view them all in one place. Unfortunately, this is a deal breaker and I will be returning these cameras. Also, linking the tapo app caused all my TP-Link light switches to become unreachable, I had to add them all back manually. Edited

From my experience with other brands and cameras, this Tapo C-120 camera is total garbage! In last few months I had to re-connect my 3 cameras a dozen times! It's totally garbage! Every other week they run into some issues and disconnect from the app and I cannot check my cameras! They are not working for few days to few weeks, then I'm getting tired of it and have to re-set the whole thing from scratch again and again! Total waste of time and money! Just buy some other brand, not this garbage!

Awesome app! Works well. I have a power controller on all my security cams and network equipment. One request is to support a power cycle option so I can power cycle my network/wifi equipment because if I power it off then I don't have wifi connection to power it back on. Hence the need for a power cycle option. Like a power off, wait 15 seconds, and power back on. Support that and I can guarantee you will sell more for that very purpose!

I love the app. it has a lot of features that I like, and isn't difficult to use once you learn to use it. I can set a range with the camera's view (a subsection within the view) for the motion detector to set off an alarm, so I use it as a bed alarm for my elderly father. For example, I can basically have the alarm go off if there is motion beyond 1 or more inches from, or before the beds end. With God's help through Messiah, it can help me run to him if he tries to get up.
